What do you like most about being a business owner? Working so closely with other small business owners, advising, educating and implementing customized growth strategies using technology. Their passion and the look in their eyes is priceless!

What do you like least about being a business owner? Dealing with third party service providers that impact our business and our customers and having little to no control.

What do you like most about having a home office? The time flexibility is wonderful but the cost effectiveness along with the ability to respond quicker are close seconds.

What do you like least about having a home office? Not being able to chit-chat across the office and interface daily 1-1.

What is your biggest business mistake? Having the wrong partners in some of my other companies.

Advice to anyone considering starting a home-based business: Don't cut corners on the initial investment of technology and thinking out of the box in regards to how they will/want to do business in the future.

What do you like most about being a COSE member? Diversity of resources and services; the great staff and their renewed commitment.

What is your grandest wish? That small business owners (Ohio's future) would more quickly embrace new ways of doing business in this high velocity technology driven world we live in.
