What do you like most about being a business owner? Being able to drive the direction of the business and the breadth of the service offering is great! I love being able to respond to the marketplace and make decisions quickly.

What do you like most about having a home office? Lately I haven't been in it much because I have been working on client sites. But, eliminating the commute time makes me so productive.

Advice to anyone considering starting a home-based business: People always ask me if I get distracted with house stuff. The truth is that once I am in my office I only leave to refill my water glass and to make my lunch.

What do you like most about being a COSE member? COSE offers a great opportunity to interact with a wide variety of businesses. I have found the people to be a great resource for many aspects of my business development and growth.

Have you been active with COSE: I joined COSE for the networking, so I joined the Ambassador group right away to dive into the volunteer and networking aspect.

What two or three personal characteristics are most critical to your success? Passion, tenacity, and commitment.

Advice that you try to live by: Balance between personal and professional is critical. While the challenge of work is exhilarating, nothing can replace quality personal time with family, friends and interests such as exercise.

What is one thing that is on your “to-do” list that you would really like to check off? Read more books...I love the entertainment aspect of "Best Sellers" but it is tough to fit it into the schedule outside of vacations.

What you can't live without: E-mail, cell phones and my Blackberry... I have been in the tech marketing field a long time. I take these tools for granted as convenience and time saver aids.
