What do you like most about being a business owner? I like being my own boss, making my own decisions and not worrying about being under someone else's thumb.

What do you like least about being a business owner? I never really get away from the business.

What do you like most about having a home office? The freedom to work when I want and to be available for family events during the day.

What do you like least about having a home office? It's always there!

What is your biggest business mistake? Not paying myself from the very beginning.

Advice to anyone considering starting a home-based business: Smile! Patience! Take one step at a time!

Have you been active with COSE: Volunteering, Business After Hours, the MAP Programs (COSE actually helped to start the business), the Business Plan Course (three times), and other business programs.

What two or three personal characteristics are most critical to your success? Honesty and the desire to please my customers.

Advice that you try to live by: Smile! It makes people wonder what you have been up to!

Favorite Cuisine: Anything that is not spicy - my taste depends on the day

Favorite Movie: Titanic, The Producers, Chicago, Dirty Dancing, Shall We Dance? ... I love too many!

What is one thing that is on your “to-do” list that you would really like to check off? Finish my Christmas Tree Skirt - I've been working on it for six years, I would relax!

If you could have met just one person before they died, who would it have been: My Father's Mother.

Country you wish to visit most: I would love to visit all of the United States first, then travel to other countries.
